In this game you played as one of two commandos infiltrating an enemy base. You could use the link cable with a friend and play as both commandos, making the game a whole lot funner. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%% %2.Story% %%%%%%%%% Two commandos, one a male, and one a woman, glide down to the jungle on a hot, humid night. Both are veteran spies sent on this mission with one requirement. To infiltrate and destroy everything in the enemy base they were sent to. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%%%% %3.Characters% %%%%%%%%%%%%%% Masasto is an expert commando. Because of his great size, he cannot jump. However he makes this up in strength. Masasto is the commando that can use weapons found along the hallways of the base. Mizuki is an extremely agile warrior. Because of this she can jump. She isn't well trained in weapons, however, so she cannot use weapons found in the hallways. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%% %4.Controls% %%%%%%%%%%%% Masasto: A Button: Use special weapons found in hallway. B Button: Shoot normal weapon. Directional Pad: Move up, down, left, and right. Start: Pause Game. Select: Go to Menu Screen(Able to use items, or change characters). Mizuki: A Button: Jump. B Button: Shoot weapon. Directional Pad: Move up, down, left, and right. Start: Pause Game. Select: Go to Menu Screen(Able to use items, or change characters). /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %5.Items/Weapons% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Items: Keys: Keys are used to unlock locked doors in zones. A key can be used for any lock. Most keys are gained from beating mini-bosses. First-Aid Kit: A First-Aid Kit completely refills a character's life meter. Life-Up: Acts the same as a First-Aid Kit, but also adds one section to a character's life meter. Bombs: These rare items can be set up in a place and do massive damage. Both characters can use them, so keep an eye out for these rare treats. Weapons: Power-Up: This weapon enhancement upgrades the power of your character's main weapon. Therefore, both Masasto and Mizuki can use this upgrade. Range Boost: This weapon enhancement upgrades the range of your character's main weapon. As started before, both characters can use this, since it upgrades the main weapon. Grenade: Both characters can use this weapon. Lob a grenade at some enemies, and it will cause massive damage. Flamethrower(Masasto only): This weapon will show enemies real "fire" power. It is best used on the tougher enemies in the game. Machine Gun(Masasto only): This gun with the "V" on it has a extremely high velocity rate. It is best used when you need to fire real fast. 3-Way Gun(Masasto only): This gun shoots rounds in 3 different directions, giving you the possibility on hitting 3 enemies at once. It is quite effective in a room with many enemies in it. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %6.Walkthrough% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Stage 1(The Field): You start out in a room with no enemies at all. I recommend using Masasto for this level. Go left, into a room with 4 soldiers. Kill them all, pick up the 3- Way gun power up that is usually there, and then proceed upwards. Take a left through this room to the next room. After killing these soldiers, go downwards and grab the life-up. Go back up to the room you just came from, and continue upwards. Continue upwards again through this room, and you will find yourself in a room facing a gun platform. Continuously fire at the platform while dodging its fire. After you beat it, you will receive a key. Go back down to the room you just came, and take a right. Defeat the soldiers in this room, and go right again. You will find yourself facing a Jeep with 3-way shooting capabilities. Dodge its fire and shoot at the engine. If you defeat it you will receive another key. Continue right one more room, pick up the 3 First-Aid kits, and prepare for your first boss battle. Continue upwards. Stage 1 Boss: Field Guardian The Field Guardian has heavy duty, strong cannons. However, you will soon notice they can't fire everywhere. Find the safe spots, and fire into the base of the cannons to take them out. This should be a very simple boss battle. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Stage 2(The Jungle): The jungle looks just like the field, except the enemies are quite faster and tougher. I would recommend Mizuki for this level since the enemies are faster then before. Start out by going all the way up until you cannot go up anymore. Take a right, and defeat the jeep for your first key. Go back down to the starting area, and go right two rooms. Defeat the truck, and gain another key. Go back one room left, then go upwards two rooms. Take a right, then go through the long hallway until you can only go upwards. Walk all the way to the left of the second hallway, go up one room then go right. Grab the two First-Aid's and prepare for your battle with the Super Tank. Stage 2 Boss: Supertank The Supertank has one main cannon and two 3-Way guns. Start off by repeatedly shooting at the main cannon, dodging the return fire. Once you destroy the main gun, stand on the sides and destroy the two 3-Way guns. Once they are destroyed, the tank is finished and you have won! %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Stage 3(The Cave): You start on the first floor. Choose either character for this level, I don't really have a preference. Start by going up a room, then left a room. Go down a room. You will soon be in a dark hallway. Locate the control panel on one of the walls, and shoot at it until the lights turn on. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %7.Secret Codes% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Unlimited Lives: At the password screen, enter AAAA as a password for unlimited lives for Masasto, or BBBB for unlimited lives for Mizuki. Reviving a character: If you find a Life-Up, stand next to it and press select. Choose the dead commando and use it. Voila, the character is back! Level 1 password: 1111 Level 2 password: 3375 Level 3 password: 1681 Level 4 password: 1122 /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %8.Copyright Information% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% This document is protected by US Copyright Law.
