Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R Walkthrough/FAQ by Sailor Squirtle (sailor_squirtle@mailcity.com) Version 1.2 Updates: 7/1 -Minor update in the Mini Game section -One new section -How to pass level 2, Sailor Mercury's level Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R (Which I will call Sailor Moon R from here on) is a Game Boy game, obviously, that is only available in Japanese. It's a strange game, though, so I'll skip the fancy stuff and cut right to the chase here. 1) Walkthrough 2) Scoring, Items, and Monsters 3) FAQ 4) Codes (levels) 5) Game Shark Codes 6) Credit 7) Sites This Is Found On 8) Coming Soon... 9) Contact 10) Copyright ------------WALKTHROUGH------------ When you first turn on the game, press START. You will get four choices. They look like this. I have translated all the choices somewhat. NORMAL GAME CUT GAME (also Character Game) ENTER PASSWORD MINI-GAME I'll explain the Passwords in the Level Code section. I suggest trying the Cut Game first. Select it, you will get a picture of Rini (Chibi-Usa) and her ball, Luna P. Two choices will come up. The screen is asking something like this: Difficulty level? NORMAL HARD Select whatever choice you wish. Your screen will look like this. CHARACTER SELECT AMI MAKO (Sailor Mercury) (Sailor Jupiter) USAGI REI (Sailor Moon) MINAKO (Sailor Mars) (Sailor Venus) Of course, the stuff in the parenthesis won't show up, but that is for people that don't know their Japanese names. In the Cut Game, you will not go through the levels you would in the Normal Game. All you will do is the part where you try to find the Negaverse worker to battle, and battle them. These are the same areas you will go through in the Normal Game, when you first see the Negaverse servant. To attack the monsters that come after you, press B. Press A to jump. There is five levels, and they're pretty easy. Beat all 5, and you've won the Cut Game. Good job! Now that you've got the hang of the buttons and stuff, try the Mini-Games so you know what they are. It is the choice in the bottom right corner. Your screen will look like this. Sailor V Longhaired Girl's Card Game (High/Low) Spikehead's Trivia Melvin's Fix The Picture Game Longhaired Girl's Memory Grandpa's Trivia Game After you pick one, the following menu will come up. Welcome to (GAME NAME)! How do you want to play? INSTRUCTIONS FIRST NO INSTRUCTIONS EXIT Sailor V is easy, you have to jump and shoot 20 bats. You have 3 lives. Every time a bat gets by you, you lose a life. The buttons to jump and shoot are the same as in Cut Game. Spikehead's Trivia is strange. If you can read Japanese, that's good! If you can't, guess at one of the choices. Afterwards, 25 boxes will show up. Move the + symbol to reveal a part of the picture. If you got the question right, you can reveal 2 parts; if not, you can reveal 1. Then you have to tell who it is. Like the other question, there's four choices. Not the easiest game in the world, is it? The Longhaired Girl has two games. Her Memory game is just like the actual game: trying to match the cards. However, you have to do it in 13 turns. There is 6 matches - 12 cards. This is an easy game. Her card game is hard to understand. Thank you to triforcelink000@yahoo.com for this info: It's sorta like this.. cards 1-K, no Ace.. HIGHER LOWER QUIT (that's the menu) so like if she puts a '5' on there, you can pick either HIGHER or LOWER (what you think your card is) and I think if you get it right either 5 or 6 times, you win...the American name is High/Low. Melvin's Fix The Picture Game is hard. A picture is scrambled up and you have to move the picture parts to their spots, and you have to do it in 80 seconds. Good luck, this is hard!! Grandpa's Trivia is much like Spikehead's Trivia, except you don't have to figure out a picture. Once you miss a question, the game's over. Now that you've played some mini-games, let's try the Normal Game!! You start off on Level 1 as Usagi - Sailor Moon. First, find Melvin. He's up on the top part of the map, which you can access by pushing B. Talk to him, and he will start to follow you. Go down one "level", and talk to Molly. After a while, when they stop talking, Melvin won't follow you. Then, go to the building near them. An ugly woman will turn into the Longhaired Girl. Play her game, if you wish, then leave. Go find Luna, who will follow you around. Go talk to Rini, just once. Luna, however, will still follow you. Then go to the top right corner of the area, where you will find Catsy. After going through the part that you go through in the Cut Game and battling her, you will start on Level 2 as Chibi-Usa - Rini. First, go to the end of the street you are on to the last house. Go in, and Ami will talk to you. Then, you will start playing as Ami - Sailor Mercury. You can drop off Rini in the building that, on the map, looks like a house - on the far left of the middle street. Then, go to Rei's house, which is the left building on the top street. After you get out of there, go to the middle street and talk to Usagi, then Luna, then Chad (the guy with long hair). Go to the place symbolized as a pick on the map, and talk to Rubeus. After going through the second level in the Cut Game and battling Rubeus, you will start LEvel 3 as Rei - Sailor Mars. ------------SCORING, ITEMS, AND MONSTERS------------ You score points for various things. - 10 points - killing something -1000 points - picking up rings -2000 points - killing Negaverse person at the end of the level There is lots of different items that do different things. -ring - score 1000 points -heart - restore 1 health heart -chest - restore all health hearts -rose - gain 1 life Different monsters take different amounts of hits to kill. -floating women - 1 hit.
