Not much to really say here other than this FAQ will tell you the locations of every vehicle in both versions of Transformers: The Movie for the Nintendo DS, along with their stats and appearances. Two things to note are that the Arctic Level is exclusive to the Autobots Version of the game while the Qatar Level is exclusive to the Decepticons Version of the game, and you can NOT play as exclusive characters or vehicles in the opposite version of the game. Also, I must warn you that I've only completed the Decepticons Version of this game so far, so please bare with me while I get the stats and appearances for the Autobots Version exclusive vehicles. __________________________________________________ -2.00 Locations of The 42 Vehicles __________________________________________________ -2.10 Casino Level Vehicles ___________________________ Beater Sportster SUV Armored Truck Notchback Import Pickup Utility Pickup Car Moving Truck School Bus Flame Truck Ice Cream Truck Lightning Rider Death Truck Tricked Out Car Racer Hot Rodder News Copter (Located beside the pool on the roof of the Eastern Casino) Off-Roader Speedster Police Copter (Achieve a Level Two Wanted Level) -2.20 Tranquility Level Vehicles ___________________________ Sportster SUV Armored Truck Import Pickup Car Moving Truck School Bus Flame Truck Ice Cream Truck Recon Chopper (Achieve a Level Four Wanted Level) Lightning Rider Death Truck Tricked Out Car Racer Hot Rodder SWAT Van (Besides the Police Station, near the Baseball Field) Off-Roader Raider (At the Docks, surrounded by crates by the ramps) Speedster Police Copter (Achieve a Level Two Wanted Level) Prison Bus -2.30 Hoover Dam Level Vehicles ___________________________ Attack Copter (Along the river in a small hanger with some jets) Peace Van (On the edge of a high cliff right beside the Hoover Dam) Stealth Chopper (Achieve a Level Four Wanted Level) Safari Truck (Along the river by two tents and two trees) -2.40 Version Exclusive Vehicles & Misc ___________________________ Chopper (Located in the Arctic and Qatar levels) Funky Bus (Connect to WFC for the first time, both versions) Longhorn (Collect 250 tokens online with the Autobots Version) Gunner (Collect 750 tokens online with the Autobots Version) Maintenance Truck (Complete Story Mode in the Autobots Version) Transport (Unknown at this time) Skydive (Download from a DS Station with the Autobots Version) Love Cruiser (Collect 250 tokens online with the Decepticons Version) Stunt Car (Collect 750 tokens online with the Decepticons Version) Contruction (Complete Story Mode in the Decepticons Version) Scout Car (Unknown at this time) G1 Starscream (Download from a DS Station with the Decepticons Version) __________________________________________________ -3.00 Vehicle Descriptions & Stats __________________________________________________ Since vehicles have an unmarked meter to describe their four stats, I will simply mark each stat from 0-11 to make things easier. However, if you ram into another vehicle AND it's a Transformer, he will yell in surprise and be forced into his robot mode while falling onto his back. This is a great way to check if a vehicle will turn into a Transformer and attack you before you go to scan it! Also, you're able to scan other Transformers as well! If a Transformer is attacking you and you move to a place they can not melee you (such as on top of a low roof), you can scan the Transformer and become the same vehicle it transforms into! Scanning actual characters, such as Bumblebee and Barricade, won't give you any results. Opposing robots can be any nonflying vehicle you have scanned. If you see a vehicle that does not belong in the area you are in, such as the Peace Van driving around Tranquility, it is most definately a robot. The Notchback is the only vehicle without a secondary colour option. Q: If I have the Autobots Version of the game, can I unlock Decepticons, the Love Cruiser, Stunt Car, Construction, Scout Car, or G1 Starscream? What about the other way around if I own the Decepticons Version? A: No. You can not play as Decepticons in the Autobots Version or vice versa. These characters and vehicles are only available in one of the two versions of the game. To get the full story, you need to purchase both versions of the game. Q: Why did you rank the vehicles' stats out of 11? Wouldn't 10 make more sense? A: Looking through all of the stats for every vehicle, I found that the vast majority of them fill the bar in segments of 1/11ths. Of course, this means that all of the stats listed in this FAQ are ESTIMATED. When you see a vehicle like The Hot Rodder with all 10's, but then look at the actual stats in the game itself, you'll notice that its stats arn't all perfectly alligned (like how its top speed is a pixel longer than its handling). These estimations are as close as you're going to get without grabbing a magnifying glass and counting each stat's length in pixels, one by one. Q: What the heck! I scanned a vehicle and it said there were no results! A: Not every vehicle in the game is available to play as. Which is a shame, because a lot of the military and police vehicles look like a lot of fun. __________________________________________________ -5.00 Legal __________________________________________________ This guide was created by Bendilin Spurr on June 28th, 2007.
