Chain Restriction: Chains that are shorter than this value won't do any damage. For example, if you set the Chain Restriction to 4, chains of length 3 or shorter won't drop any ojama puyos on your opponent. Ojama (Junk) Puyo Rate: The smaller this number, the more ojama puyos you'll send. Essentially, the Ojama Puyo Rate is the cost (in points) of each ojama puyo. Fever Count: Every time an attack is cancelled the Fever Gauge increases by this amount. When the Fever Count is set to zero, canceling attacks won't get you any closer to fever mode. Fever Correction: You can adjust the strength of fever attacks here. The bigger the number, the more damage attacks during fever mode will do. Appendix B: Random Notes --- The Free Battle mode can be used an alternative to the Practice mode as a place to work on your chains. Set the "Chain Restriction" very high (say, 14) and choose Donguri Gaeru (the frog near the upper right of the selection screen) as your opponent. You won't be able to attack each other, and there are fewer bells and whistles than there are in Practice mode. Here are a couple of hot Puyo Puyo movies that mr. magic3 was kind enough to post on youtube. These are from the windows version of Puyo Fever and feature a nice showcase of new school (magic3.net, on the left) versus old school(Maple, on the right): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq-Zn4YOqUA&eurl= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHqhHtu95gw&eurl=
