Since this is my first, Itll take some getting used to for me, so for now please forgive the sloppiness... I'll be sure to gradually clean it up over time. I wanted Jump Superstars to be my first FAQ because it's one of the best DS games I've ever played. Alas, Sasuke is my favorite character so quickly decided on him being the topic of the FAQ. I hope that this will help some of you, even if its just a simple thing, like learning one of Sasukes moves. Thanks for choosing to read my FAQ! ---------------------------- B - Table of Contents ---------------------------- I - Introduction A. Welcome B. Table of Contents C. Sasuke History D. Copyright ---------------------------- C - Sasuke History ---------------------------- Uchicha Sasuke is one of the main characters from the Japanese anime/manga, Naruto. He is the main characters (Naruto) rival. Stop reading here if you dont want to be spoiled. As a child, Sasuke had a loving family, consisting of his mother, father, and brother. His mother and father were both Jounin, while his brother, Itachi, was a "genius". Itachi was ahead of Sasuke in everything. Sasuke felt that his Itachi got more love from his father. Anyway, one night after the Ninja Academy, Sasuke walks home alone. He feels something is wrong, as he cant see any activity in his clan village. He soon Discovers that Itachi has murdered his whole clan. Sasuke then vows to become an avenger, and to kill his brother. That is his one goal in life. He would go to any length to kill Itachi. ---------------------------- C - J Adventure Mode ---------------------------- In J Adventure Mode, you travel over 4 worlds in order to stop the evil doctor from capturing all the Jump Superstars. As you move from battle to battle, you must clear objectives to unlock new serif and help koma. ******************************************************************************* II - Koma ******************************************************************************* ---------------------------- A - What is a koma? ---------------------------- Many people are confused by this, but basically a koma is a manga panel. It is a small portrait in the bottom screen with a characters picture in it. You combine the many different sizes and types of koma together to form a manga page, which is called your "deck". The deck page is a 4 x 5 grid that can hold up to 20 koma. Once you combine all your koma into a deck, you touch the koma in battle to use the komas special. The special depends on the size of the koma. 1 koma = Help character. 2-3 koma = Support character. 4-6 koma = Battle character. Koma vary in shape and size depending on the Koma itself. If the koma is large, it will have a stronger attack, but leave less space for fitting in other komas. *NOTE* Every koma besides Battle Koma use 1 Special Meter (scroll down to Move List) from the Special Bar everytime used. */NOTE* ---------------------------- B - Koma Types ---------------------------- Koma vary in size. A koma "class" is determined by its size. 1 koma = Help character. 2-3 koma = Support character. 4-6 koma = Battle character. Help koma - A 1 panel koma. The character isnt shown on screen, but will put a status effect on your character. There are many different status effects a help koma can give you. - Increase J-soul of battle character - Increase J-soul of all characters in your deck - Increase J-soul recovery speed of battle character - Increase special guage of male/female characters - Increase attack/speed of battle character - Stealth during a short time - Immunity to status effects for a short time - Remove all negative status effects - Increases vision range of battle screen - Counters 1 enemy attack - Randomized power of the next 2 attacks of yours character - When it combines with koma... (This one is special, and will be explained later on in the FAQ... skip ahead to 7 koma section) Support Koma - A Support koma is a 2-3 panel koma. The character will appear on-screen, perform an attack, and then leave. Battle Koma - A battle koma is a 4-6 panel koma. Certain characters have a 7 panel koma, but we will get to that later on. A battle character is just like it sounds. Your main character. Every battle character has 2 specials (excluding Kakashi who has 3). As your battle koma size rises (4 to 5, 5 to 6) your character gets stronger specials and attacks, and sometimes health, but takes up alot of space. Serif Koma - A serif koma is different. It's not a playable koma. Throughout J Adventure mode, after completing requirements, you will sometimes gain a koma that is just a silhouette, and has an empty slot in it. Sometimes more than one slot. This is were it sometimes gets tricky for the non-manga readers and people that cant read Japanese. You must take a help koma of a character(s), and insert it into the hole, based off the diolauge in the silhouette. If you get it wrong, dont worry, you can keep trying until you get it right. If you do get it right, congratulations! You've unlocked a new koma! The koma you unlock is of course depending on the silhouettes size. Obviously, there will never be a Help Serif Koma, only support and battle. ---------------------------- C - Koma Nature ---------------------------- Battle and Support Komas have an inherent nature. Characters are affiliated with an inherent nature either 'Laughter', 'Power', or 'Knowledge' The system is like Rock-Paper-Scissors. Laughter beats Power. Power beats Knowledge. And Knowledge beats Laughter. If you use an attack that is strong against the enemy's nature, you deal 1.5 times the damage. Sasuke is Knowledge. Certain characters have special moves that are of a different inherent nature. The following is a list of some (sorry, cant list them all only because I dont know alot of character names) BATTLE characters nature: Don Patchi - Laughter Gotenks - Laughter Naruto - Power Gohan - Power Kenshin - Power Vegeta - Power Yoh - Knowledge Sakura - Knowledge Sasuke - Knowledge Kakashi - Knowledge Goku - Power Luffy - Power Bobobobo - Laughter Gintaki - Laughter Gon - Power Ichigo - Power Yugi - Knowledge Yuske - Power Zoro - Power Nami - Knowledge Sanji - Power Nico Robin - Knowledge Allen - Knowledge Jo Jo - Power Dio - Power More will be added if I can find some names of the characters ---------------------------- D - Sasuke Help Koma ---------------------------- As discussed earlier, a Help koma is a one panel koma that gives a status effect. Sasukes Help Koma can be found during J Adventure, in World 2, Mission 1-8 - Never let your characters go Ring Out Congratulations, you now have the key to all of Sasukes koma (except koma 7) ---------------------------- E - Serif Koma Locations ---------------------------- In this section of the FAQ, you will learn where and how to get all of Sasukes Serif Koma, which as we learned earlier, is a silhouette that you combine with Sasukes Help Koma to unlock his Support and Battle Koma. (The exception is 7 block koma, which requires Juuin... Will be explained later on) Sasukes 2 Block Support Koma ------------------------------ World 2, Mission 1-10 - Connect with a Support Koma(s) at least 10 times Sasukes 3 Block Support Koma ------------------------------ World 3, Mission 1-2 - The Win Difference between 2 players is more than 6 points Sasukes 4 Block Battle Koma ------------------------------ World 2, Mission 1-10 - Never use Double-Jump Sasukes 5 Block Battle Koma ------------------------------ World 4, Mission 1-3 - Never Use the Y button Sasukes 6 Block Battle Koma ------------------------------ World 3, Mission 2-3 - Ring Out all or your opponents characters at least 3 times each Sasukes 7 Block Battle Koma ------------------------------ Battle 500 Times. This includes J Adventure mode, and multi-cart multiplayer. Battle mode DOES NOT COUNT. Sasukes Juuin (Curse Seal) ------------------------------ World 4, Mission 2-1 - Get 7 KO's ******************************************************************************* III - Move List ******************************************************************************* ---------------------------- A - Basic Moves ---------------------------- The Basic Jump Superstars moves, which all the characters have. Extremely dangerous... Sasukes specials are used for finishing off the enemy. His Chidori has an EXTREMELY large range, and once it hits it throws the enemy far back. You must be extremely cautious because you can drag yourself off the field if your not careful. Sasukes Goukakyuu no Jutsu is excellent when enemies are huddled together. A great finishing move. *Note* Battle 7 Komas are special. Few characters have them. They are a special transformation, like Narutos Kyuubi. To unlock Sasuke Battle Koma 7 you must combine the Juuin (Curse Seal) and Sasuke Help Koma after obtaining the 7 block serif koma. */Note* ---------------------------- E - Dream Combo ---------------------------- A Dream Combo is a special combo between 2 battle characters. You perform a dream combo by using the touch screen. You must do the following quickly. First, select the character you want to end the dream combo with. It will end with one of their specials. Then touch that battle koma on the touch screen after it is selected. Quickly touch the second battle koma you want in the combo, and then press the character you started with. To peform one, you need the three Jump Koma. "Friendship, Effort, and Victory". Once you have these three koma, you put them together and 2 arrows will form. Put the characters you want to do the attack on each arrow. Then, while in battle, simply press any of the three Jump Komas. Any character can do a Tag Attack. BUT certain characters have a special animation when used with another specific character. The only diffrence is the animation, but cool none the less. Fortunately, Sasuke has one of these special animations. His partner is Dio from JoJos Bizarre Adventure. SHARINGAN WORLD!: 30 Dmg ******************************************************************************* IV - Conclusion ******************************************************************************* ---------------------------- A - Frequently Asked Questions ---------------------------- Q: Does Sasuke have/use his Sharingan? A: Technically, yes. Whenever Sasuke uses a special, if you look at his eyes, he has the Sharingan. It doesnt do anything other then look cool though. Q: *SPOILERS FOR NARUTO* Does Sasuke have his curse seal level 2? A: Yes, his 7 koma. Whenever you use a special, Sasuke transforms. Q: What is Sasukes best koma? A: There is no "best" koma. While Sasuke DOES get stronger as you gain higher level komas, it all depends on what you like, because the special moves differ. The exception is Sasuke koma 4, which is not reccomended only because all of his moves including specials can be done even better at any koma higher than 4. ---------------------------- B - Credits ---------------------------- Nintendo and Ganbarion - For making this AWESOME game, Were all hoping for a sequel!
