Fossil Locations - A Guide for Fossil Fighters (c) RED Entertainment _______________________________________________________________________ This is a small location guide that I’m developing in order to be able to locate the fossil that you desire easily. This also contains some extra information that I’ve discovered about red fossils and Jewels. I hope that it’s helpful! It’s my first FAQ, so don’t go too hard on me ~.~ To find a certain section, hit ctrl + f and enter the words that you are looking for. Pay attention to the words in the [ ], as they are there to help find the section you need. Table of Contents: A. Version Information B. Upgrades C. Areas to dig for fossils/fossil locations D. Copyright information E. Credit Section A. Version Information V 1.0 - 8/22/09 - All Vivosaur locations given. To follow: -- Jewels that can be found in each level. -- Information on how to find the special "vivosaurs" Section B. Upgrades Get the upgrades for your sonar as soon as possible, as it makes it far easier to find rarer fossils and fewer rocks -Monitor Upgrade 1 – Increases the size of your sonar. -Monitor Upgrade 2 – Max size for the sonar. -Fossils Filter Upgrade 1 – Lowers the chance of finding rocks. -Fossil Filter Upgrade 2 – Greatly lowers the chance of finding rocks. I haven’t found a rock since getting this upgrade. -Fossil Chip Upgrade 1 – Allows you to find 3rd fossil type. -Fossil Chip Upgrade 2 – Allows you to find last fossil type. Section C. Finding the fossil you want Often when you are digging up fossils, a fossil fighter will jump up out of the hole that you’ve just dug up and challenge you for the jewel/fossil rock. Win and you get the rock. Now, you will always be challenged to fight if you find a jewel rock, but being challenged for a fossil is much rarer. If you get challenged for a fossil, there is a 50% chance that that fossil is a rare Red Fossil. Red fossils are a great way to easily get over 100% when you are cleaning the fossil because they automatically give you a +25 point bonus. So fight for those fossils! Areas to dig for fossils: I. Credits Full credit to RED Entertainment for coming out with such a great game. At first I thought it would be a simpler version of Pokemon/Digimon, but this game has its own unique qualities that make it an excellent game to play. Information on Tryma and Paki given by jlee5653 on the gamefaqs.com board for Fossil Fighters This guide was written in total by Smokey101/Nightmares06. Both names refer to the same person...me! I just had an identity crisis some time after coming to gamefaqs :P
