From the Kanji, here's what the title means: Doki Doki = heart beat Majo = devil girl Shinpan = divine check ! = Excitement 2 = 2nd game ----------------------------------------- [02] CONTRIBUTORS ----------------------------------------- From the forums, I took the following information Fatbeer1 for the Menu translation Empheral_Blade and IAznDragonI Yan for the initial witch check information ----------------------------------------- [03] MENU (from Fatbeer1) ----------------------------------------- For people who want to play the touching part, the main menu goes like this 1. New game 2. Continue 3. Extras 3a. Gallery 3b. Events/cut Scenes 3c. Boss Rush 3d. Witch Check 4. Options ----------------------------------------- [04] STORY MODE ----------------------------------------- Buttons: A = Choose B = Go Back Y = FastForward R = Switch active character (In some scenes only) L = Switch active character (In some scenes only) I can't read Japanese, so all I did was wander around the map. Any time I'm given multiple choices, I select the first one. Always select on a spot where the icon is one of the witches. Then hit 'Y' to speed through the dialog. :) Go back and forth between all the areas to look for these 'face icon' areas. Once you've exhausted all the 'face icon', go for the 'green exclamation' icon. Then 'Y' to speed through those dialogs. The double exclamation pink icons tend to have interactive events in them. Sometimes, you have to find an item before you can access or finish those. Sometimes, you have to switch your active character to get to the item. Now, you're left with single exclamation point pink/purple icons. Go to those and click around to get information. Look for Black Panda doll things and White Rabbit doll things. I believe those unlock gallery photos and extra events. Also look for puzzle pieces. Eventually, you'll have done enough to get into a witch battle. I suck at these and got stuck at the one with the Twins... after that, I used a save file to unlock the rest. (yeah, I'm lame) So I can't help with the battle. Anyway, once you beat them up, it's on to the witch check mode, which I'll detail below. ----------------------------------------- [05] WITCH MARK CHECK ----------------------------------------- There are two types of Witch Checks in this game. The first is a single screen Witch Check, which results in a Red hat (not Witch) or a Green hat (Witch). There are only two choices, touch or microphone. The other, more involved check is the Witch Mark Check, which includes a scrolling screen (to move up and down the witch) and more options. The Witch Mark Check is the type that will be described in more detail in the rest of this FAQ. ------------------------- [05a] CHECKING ------------------------- Alternate between touch (hand icon), look (magnifying glass icon), and blowing. To blow, you have to blow into the mic. If a spot no longer responds to 'touch', try 'look', and vice versa. The binoculars are only activated under certain circumstances, see Super-H Mode below. ------------------------- [05b] POSES ------------------------- During witch check, each girl has 4 poses. The initial pose (Green) may have intermediate pose sub-poses, like different arm positions or shifting leg positions. Witch check starts with pose 2 (Green background) and can 'degrade' to pose 1 (Blue Background). Pose changes seem to be linked to the number of positive touches (pink hearts floating up) to improve, and negative touches (blue hearts floating down) to degrade. Each poses have the following background colors: Blue/Aqua Green (Starting pose) Orange/Yellow Pink/Red For the most part, the Blue/Aqua pose means that she's cooling off and turning her back to you. Some witches have more provocative Orange/Yellow and Pink/Red poses, but never too lurid. This is rated... actually, I don't know what this is rated. I'd say it's rated "H" for Heavenly. ------------------------- [05c] SUPER-H MODE ------------------------- For most girls, you can zoom into a super-Hentai mode by using the binoculars. To get the binoculars to flash, touch the witch rapidly in an 'H' spot (usually chest or groin, sometimes thigh) so that you get the blue hearts. After a couple of blue heart touches in opportune places, she'll either shift down one pose or give you the binoculars. Click on the binoculars to zoom in on an H spot and click away. It does not seem to matter where, just tap quickly and rack up positive heart touches. 0 to 1 = None 2 to 7 = Good H 8 to 18 = Excellent H 19+ = Heavenly H My personal best is 53 Heavenly H's. Too bad these don't count as 'combos'. ------------------------- [05d] COMBOS ------------------------- I've only gotten mostly 2-H combos so far, usually by touching the two sides of the witch's chest. I also got a 2-H combo once for touching one eye and then the other. I believe, though not sure, if I got a 2-H combo once by touching the side of the stomach of one witch, high then low. For one witch (Bottom,3) I've gotten a 3-H combo by tapping her belly button. ------------------------- [05e] JIGGLES and EXTRAS ------------------------- Empheral_Blade and IAznDragonI Yan have posted extensively on their Jiggle and 'extras' search on the forums. Here's my attempt to summarize, collate, and add to their findings. A Jiggle is either making the chests jiggle, or their butt cheeks jiggle. Here's their findings. Where I've personally done it (and remember to mention it), in addition to "Yes", I'll put in the location you get. I've added the Row and Column of who I think they are. Top/Bottom and number corresponds to where they are on the Extra - Replay screen.
