Overview of FAQ This FAQ will help you study about the various types of enemies that you'll encounter as Kunio journeys on a quest to bring Sabu, the head of the Sanwa agency (later gang in other Kunio games, such as Tachi No Banka), to justice for harassing and attacking his buddy, Hiroshi. III. Overview of Enemies Each stage in the game has at least two types of enemies (with the exception of Stage 4) that you can fight with before meeting up with the enemy boss. Some of the enemies look the same in clothes or in attack patterns in some stages, but they have a method on how to get rid of them. IV. General Tips When fighting the bad guys (and girls)... - Keep moving around. You don't want to be surrounded by enemies when you're outnumbered. - The best move to use against the bad guys is the flying kick. - Use the throw move to knock down some enemies after you toss one over your shoulder. Just make sure that the enemies you want to knock down is aligned to your position. - There are usually some bad guys who are more dangerous than the others (e.g. Those who carry wooden sticks or ice picks). If so, then get rid of those guys, since they're a bigger threat than the other guys. - When the enemies are knocked out, just do the pin move and punch them to get rid of them. - In stages 1 and 2, there are hazards. The first stage is in the commuter train station and the second stage is in a sea port. Use this to your advantage by knocking/punching/kicking/tossing your enemies into the hazards in order to make short work of them (Man, am I cruel or what? HE HE!! ^_^) V. Enemies Stage 1: Tooru Weapons: Bare hands and feet Description: He wears a dark blue Gakuseifuku uniform from body to toe and has black hair Difficulty: Very Easy on fighting singles, Hard on fighting groups of them School: Hanazono High School How to beat him: Although punches will suffice, using the flying kick and the throw moves are the best moves on him. Akira Weapons: Wooden stick Description: Bald guy. Has a white polo shirt and gakuseifuku pants. Difficulty: Medium on fighting singles, Very Hard on fighting groups of them School: Hanazono High School How to beat him: Use flying kicks and throw moves. Punches are not that effective on him, since he tends to whack you down with his stick. Because of this, only a few punches will land on him. Stage 2: Noburu Weapons: Bare hands and feet Description: He wears a pink-like BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) with boots and a white bandanna and has a surgical mask on his face and black hair Difficulty: Very Easy on fighting singles, Hard of fighting groups of them Gang: Yokohama Funky How to beat him: This guy's just like Tooru from Stage 1, just use the flying kicks and the throw moves, since there are the best techniques. But also, punches do suffice too. Takeshi Weapons: Steel Pipe Description: He wears a pink-like BDU with boots and wears a white bandanna and black hair Difficulty: Medium on fighting singles, Very Hard on fighting groups of them Gang: Yokohama Funky How to beat him: Like Akira, use flying kicks and throw moves. Landing punches on him won't be that effective, since he'll try to strike you with the steel pipe on your head. Stage 3: Kumiko Weapons: Chain Whip Description: She wears a sailor suit and has black hair Difficulty: Medium on fighting singles, Very Hard on fighting groups of them School: Taiyou Gakuen How to beat her: Remember to stay away from the whip and concentrate on using the flying kicks. The good thing about her is that she'll be dead if she hits the ground. Use the throw move if you have clear space to do it and use the running punch and running back kick when you're running of time. Kayo Weapons: Purse Description: She wears a dark sailor suit and has shades and surgical mask with black or brown hair Difficulty: Hard on fighting singles, Very Hard on fighting groups of them School: Taiyou Gakuen How to beat her: She has a purse, which makes it a deadly weapon on her hands. She's tougher than Kumiko and she has a good wallop with the purse. So, get rid of her first or she'll be a pain to your neck. Don't waste your time with throws and just stick to the running punch, flying kicks and the running back when they're chasing you. Stage 4: Gray Bodyguard Weapons: Ice Pick Description: Bald. They wearing gray American business suits with red-like shirts Difficulty: Hard on fighting singles, Very Hard on fighting groups of them Faction: Sanwa Gang How to beat him: First thing, don't go head to head with him. He has an ice pick and one wrong move and he'll knife you down with it, causing you to loose your life. Just go for speed moves like the running punch and the running back kick. VI.
