Thanks ====Revision History====------------------------ V1.0 (7-08-00): First Version of the chart. V2.0 (7-09-00): Second Version of the chart and a fix of the chart at Level 73. V3.0 (7-10-00): Third and hopefully final Version of the chart. Fix on the chart to complete it at level 84. ====Introdution====------------------- Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is the 4th in the "Vs" series of games that Capcom has released in the past few years. I have enjoyed everyone installment and with the release of the newest version was introduced this "experiance" system of character and new color costume release. I wrote this because I was tired of trying to explain to people who were waiting around the arcade arguing on whether or not a character was about to get released. This will clarify everything. It's consise and proven time and again to be accurate. Use this as your bible when calling the characters to be released. I guarantee it'll look good. Print it up, take it to your arcade and the bickering ends. Plain and simple. But please, give credit where it is due. I spent WAY too much time doing the calculations for this! ====Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Character and Alternate Color Costume Release Chart====--- Let me explain exactly what this means really quick. For every 400 experiance points something happens. Either it be a character release or a "Golden Box" that surrounds an existing character. This Golden Box allows you to choose two new colors for that character with either "assist" button. The release of EXACTLY what character is random to an extent. I have recieved some "Block release" information that can give a approximate style of character releases. Although it's random, characters are released in a "block" formation. So an example would be, you can't have Sentinal released as the first Marvel character. Here it is.... The first characters that the machine starts with are.... Capcom Marvel ------ ------ Akuma Cable Amingo Captain America Anakaris Cyclops B.B. Hood Dr.Doom Captain Commando Gambit Guile Hulk Hayato Iceman Jin Juggernaut Morrigan Magneto Ruby Heart Marrow Ryu Shuma Gorath Sonson Spider-Man Strider Hiryu Venom Zangief Wolverine Then as my chart states the order starts with a Marvel character and goes by block formations that are... Capcom Marvel ------ ------ Block 1: Cammy Omega Red Jill Psylocke Sakura Rogue Tron Bonne Storm Block 2: Chun-Li Iron Man M.Bison Silver Samurai Megaman War Machine Roll Wolverine-2 Block 3: Charlie Blackheart Dan Colossus Dhalsim Sabretooth Ken Spiral Block 4: Felicia Sentinel Servbot Thanos So after every character in a block gets released, it moves on to the next block.
