Introduction I am Samcan. I am widening my experience in writing FAQs for of different computers and consoles. It’s a pity that some games such as this go without a guide for years to come. I hope you find the game guide information in this FAQ good to digest and aid you in your gameplay. If there's anything I missed feel free to bring it up in the Board of this game. Constructive criticism, complements and commentary are welcome. Nuf said, let's begin the FAQ. 2.) Tips * Repeatedly shoot a weak point to damage a boss. Many areas of a boss are armored and impervious to your firepower. * A Boss can be greatly weakened by destroying a section of it. * Spreadfire cannons are dangerous. Incendiary cannons and pyro cannons are even more dangerous. * Bombs can cause massive damage to a boss as well as clear any projectiles it shoots, but you'd best conserve some bombs for stages that follow. 3.) Bosses === OPENING STAGE === --- Stage 1-1 --- NAME: Tandem II ARMANENTS: 2 Spreadfire Cannons, 2 Flameguns, Flamethrower STRATEGY: First take out the front flameguns and the back spreadfire cannons. When you begin to shoot the central flamethrower it will start to move sideways, while it spews fire. Keeping shooting it until the big tank is destroyed. --- Stage 1-2 --- NAME: Typhoon ARMANENTS: 2 Spreadfire Cannons, Incendiary Cannon STRATEGY: Shoot the middle of the plane repeatedly. Watch out for the projectiles from the Incendiary Cannon, because hitting one splits it into five smaller fireballs. You should have the plane destroyed in a trice without needing a bomb. === GROUND BATTLE STAGE === --- Stage 1 --- NAME: Gringo ARMANENTS: 2 Triple-fire Cannons, Spreadfire Cannon, 2 Dumbfire Missile Launchers STRATEGY: Hit the critical weapons areas, while dodging the triple-fire and spreadfire cannon bullets. Note that the dumbfire missiles can be destroyed as their launchers throw them out at you. If necessary launch a bomb so that it blasts all four points on the tank. --- Stage 2 --- NAME: Poseidon ARMANENTS: 3 Spreadfire Cannons, 8 Flameguns STRATEGY: Hitting the centre of the gunboat is essential, but shooting off each of the four flameguns scores extra points and gives you more room to fly around with less chance of being hit by a projectile. Once the flameguns are gone, fully blast the central parts of the gunboat. --- Stage 3 --- NAME: Mark II ARMANENTS: Twin Cannons, Spinning Flamer, Rotary Cannon STRATEGY: Those two tanks join together to form a more powerful tank. Keep your distance from the tank which launches a spinning flamer. When you've destroyed one tank, the other will rapidly fire its rotary cannon, so dodge carefully and finish it off. --- Stage 4 --- NAME: Genocide ARMANENTS: 2 Bag Cannon Balls, 3 Turret Cannons, Spreadfire Cannon STRATEGY: Shoot the middle of the tank and be very careful of the bag cannon balls, which will fire fast and will retract back to the tank. When the cannon ball retracts, shoot the launcher. When both sides are destroyed, shoot the spreadfire cannon that starts firing. --- Stage 5 --- NAME: Supertank ARMANENTS: 2 Flameguns, 2 Rotary Cannons, 2 Missile Turrets, 2 Spreadfire Cannons, Incendiary Cannon STRATEGY: As the tank approaches you, it will split into three parts. Shoot the rotary cannons on the interior part, followed by the flameguns and the missile turrets when they come out. Note that the fired missiles can be destroyed. When both sides of the tank are destroyed, an incendiary cannon will come out. Destroy that last cannon to obliterate the supertank. === DOGFIGHT STAGE === --- Stage 1 --- NAME: Wasp ARMANENTS: Spreadfire Cannon, 2 Wideshot Cannons, 2 Shell Cannons STRATEGY: Shoot the three tails, followed by the two wideshot cannons. The quickest way to destroy this triple fuselage plane is to blow up the cockpit. Of course if you want extra points, destroy both sides before shooting the central part. --- Stage 2 --- NAME: Airship ARMANENTS: 2 Spreadfire Cannons, 4 Incendiary Cannons, Major Incendiary Cannon STRATEGY: Carefully take out the cannons, while evading projectiles. After destroying the first three cannons, another three have to be taken out. Finally destroy the major incendiary cannon and the airship will be blown out of the sky. --- Stage 3 --- NAME: Typhoon x2 ARMANENTS: 2 Spreadfire Cannons, Incendiary Cannon, 2 Dumbfire Missile Launchers STRATEGY: Deal with both planes exactly the way you did back in 1-2 of the Starting Stage, but be careful of the dumbfire missiles that fire at you. Also keep in the mind that those planes will take more hits than the first Typhoon. --- Stage 4 --- NAME: Uberschmitt ARMANENTS: 4 Spreadfire Cannons, 2 Pyro Cannons, 2 Shell Cannons, 2 Dumbfire Missile Launchers STRATEGY: This plane is heavily armored and requires direct targeting on the cannons to destroy it piece by piece. Some of the weapons will retract, requiring you to time the shooting right. Shooting the shell cannons will blow off the wings of the plane. After that, the dumbfire missiles begin to launch and you're left to destroy the plane completely. --- Stage 5 --- NAME: Big Bomber ARMANENTS: 6 Megapyro Cannons, 4 Spreadfire Cannons STRATEGY: Shooting the megapyro projectiles will cause them to split in three, leaving you with less room to avoid. Disable those megapyro cannons as quickly as you can. Then shoot the plane in the middle to destroy one fuselage and you can deal with the other one. === SUPER NATION STAGE === --- Stage 1-1 --- NAME: Airborne Carrier ARMANENTS: 3 Spreadfire Cannons, 2 Incendiary Cannons, 2 Shell Cannons STRATEGY: Destroy the tail section of the carrier. As you avoid incoming enemy fire, destroy the cannons on each wing side so that the wings are destroyed. Once the central cannons are destroyed, the carrier can be entirely destroyed. NAME: Twin Jets ARMANENTS: 2 Spreadfire Cannons, 2 Pyro Cannons, Thrust Fire STRATEGY: It's not over yet. Two jet fighters come at you, one at a time. Don't get too close to them because their thrust fire will blaze you quite rapidly. Just hit all sides of the jets and you'll blast them down successfully. --- Stage 1-2 --- NAME: Tank Base ARMANENTS: 2 Flamethrowers, Triple Incendiary Cannon, 6 Turrets, Mortar Cannon, 2 Dumbfire Missile Launchers, Spreadfire Cannon, 3 Incendiary Cannons, 2 Super Flameguns, Central Turret STRATEGY: This is it. The ultimate boss. A tank, the size of a battleship. You're going to have to take it out section by section. The first section has all sorts of fiery fury firing at you. Hit the flamethrowers when they are not firing following the cannons in the middle (when its open). Coming to the next section, shoot all the incoming turrets and then the mortar cannon on a central rail. Tanks can be found on the platform. Now destroy the dumbfire missile launchers and then the spreadfire cannon. Coming to the last section, destroy the three incoming incrediary cannons. Careful of the super flameguns as they sidle on their rails. Once they're taken out, release all your firepower on the Central Turret (where the mysterious general is stationed presumably) as it spews bullets and incendiary shots and destroy the Tank Base once and for all. 4.)
