And speaking of musical oddities [1] … 

This is a something that I think only two or three of my readers may
appreciate (if that many)—a recording of MC 900 Ft. Jesus [2] performing live
at Good Records in Dallas, Texas [3]. The sound quality could be better, but
for someone who quit the industry in 2001, it was surprising to see him
perform in 2017. And it's a shame he stopped recording, because his music is
very unique—something like a cross between rap and jazz. Jazzrap? Rapjazz?
Something like that.
