                I wouldn't mind getting this desk for Christmas
                                        
It may look like a beautiful wood desk [1] but it's also a puzzle box [2] (or
rather, a series of puzzle boxes) wrapped around a pipe organ (link via
Hacker News [3]). Play the right tune (which can be changed and is stored in
memory board made entirely out of wood) and a secret compartment will open
up. There are other puzzles that will open up more secure compartments as can
be seen in this demonstration [4].

Unfortunately, it is one of those pieces of furniture where if you have to
ask the price, you can't afford it.
