So, here it is, November 15^th, which marks the halfway point of NaNoWriMo
(National Novel Writing Month) [1], and the expectation of having 25,000
words done by the end of the day. 

My current count? 

Let's see … la de da … carry the one … dum de dum … and I have a total word
count of … 

Zero. 

The Magic 8 Ball [2] says: Outlook not so good. 

Sigh.
