“Hello sir. Is a Mr. or Mrs. Conner there?” 

“Hello?” 

“Can you hear me?” 

“Is there anyone here? Hello?” 

Another click. ”Hello sir.” Voice has a bit of an echo. 

“Hello?” 

“You still can't hear me?” 

“Hello? I'm sorry, I just can't hear you.” I hang up.
