When we got home from Mark's [1] there was a message on the answering machine
(we got home around 2:30 am): 

“Hi, this is Mark. On the way to drop Kelly [2] off where I work, about two
miles from my home, to get his his car,” said Mark, “we saw three unmarked
white vans. Just thought you might want to know.”
