My friend Tom (the architect) had his birthday party today. The Big Three-Oh.
Lots of fun, and lots of toys (noise makers, bubble makers, Groucho Glasses,
Nerd Glasses and other novelties).

As my friend Hoade [1] would say, “He's now rocketing towards fourty!”
