# Canada

Canada, the land where so many people I have met along the way hail.

My best friend, they are from Canada. We met when we were 13, and we clicked right off the bat. I haven't heard from them in a while.

Plenty of people on the fediverse are Canadian. The ones I talk to are quite good people, if I do say so myself. They are concerned about the US, and for good reason.

The operating system I am using to type this up, OpenBSD, is based in Canada. It's deliberately not in the United States.

I don't want them to join us, not by force.

If the unthinkable were to happen, I know what I'd do.
