Autumn 2012

Woody is basically Ginny MKII (new and improved). By a stroke of
luck he came up as available on loan at the time we were learning
it was going to be a good six months before Ginny would be fully
healed. 

He's a 13h Welsh Section B like Ginny, but palomino in colour - so
like Summer is one of those ponies little girls dream of having. So
far so good, although being that we got him coming into winter we
haven't been able to do much yet: mainly just hacking out and a
couple of rides in a local indoor school. 

His character is different from Ginny. Apart from Ginny's worrying
(because I think she only felt at ease in a big herd) she was
otherwise perfectly placid in nature. Woody is more of a fidget and
doesn't like to stand still and since he paces around in his stable
he makes a right mess. I think a lot of it is that he is a typical
young boy: messy, fidgety, playful.
