MPlayer patches for VDPAU

Brief Overview:
        These patches add the following features to ffmpeg and MPlayer.

        * Decode acceleration for MPEG-4 Part 2, DivX 4, and DivX 5.
        * Higher quality scaling options.

        Note that only very recent NVIDIA GPUs support these new features.
        Please see the driver README for a list.

Current support:
        The NVIDIA 190.32 driver for Linux, Solaris, and FreeBSD provides
        initial support for these features. Please see the README accompanying
        the driver for a complete list of GPUs that support this format.

Prerequisite:
        The following should be acquired using your distribution package
        management system, or from source if required:

        * Subversion (svn); See http://subversion.tigris.org
        * C development tools: make, gcc, binutils.
        * Various X11 libraries (and their development packages)
          that MPlayer relies upon.

        Some or all of the above requirements may be met by, e.g.:

        * Fedora:

        $ sudo yum groupinstall "Development Tools" "X Software Development"
        $ sudo yum install subversion

        * Ubuntu:

        $ sudo apt-get build-dep mplayer
        $ sudo apt-get install subversion

Installing the patch:
        First, install an NVIDIA driver that supports the new features, then
        run the supplied shell script:

        $ sh checkout-patch-build.sh

Running MPlayer:
        $ cd mplayer-vdpau
        $ ./mplayer -vo vdpau -vc <VDPAU-codec-name> <filename>

        Where this patch additionally allows the following values for
        <VDPAU-codec-name>:

            ffodivxvdpau

        To request a high quality scaling option, simply augment the vo
        option as follows:

        $ ./mplayer -vo vdpau:hqscaling=<n> -vc <VDPAU-codec-name> <filename>

        Where <n> is the scaling quality level desired (0..9). Note that
        only very recent NVIDIA GPUs support any high quality scaling options,
        and that current NVIDIA drivers implement only scaling quality levels
        0 (the previous default), and 1 (a new higher quality option).

Changes:
        2009/10/05:

        * Fix compilation with older drivers that don't have the MPEG-4
          API definitions.

        2009/09/29:

        * Fix empty else clause in configure.

        2009/09/24:

        * Support pkg-config for libvdpau.

          libvdpau will be found using PKG_CONFIG_PATH first, then fall back
          to any custom CFLAGS/LDFLAGS, or standard system locations.

        2009/09/02:

        * Initial release
