been with us for a
while, I'm
sure
you've noticed the changes we've undergone over the last year or so, and
you
can bet on seeing even more coming in the future. That's the point
though, if we're constantly changing, we can't expect a stale old
presentation to represent us well. I hope you enjoy the new additions and
changes we've made. I can't tell you what to expect in the future, I
don't know myself.
I won't try to explain the purpose of this site to
you. Look around,
check it out, get a feel for the flavor. This site is us. It's what
we've come from, what we're about, and where we're going. We're not
trying to impress anyone, we're simply trying to open your mind. Sit
back, and watch the butter fly.
ICF was started as a New York City graf crew in early
1992 by
four
writers, ODIE, JUGS, ARCS, and LO5. Over the next few years, countless
other writers were added to ICF's growing member list. Most notably NZONE
who is still an integral part of the team, along with many writers from
outsite New York, expanding our operation. Many of us still write, some
have moved on to other activities. The website was started by JUGS in
1994, as an outlet for a rough period in his life that he was going
through. ODIE soon added a helping hand to the page, and the two are
still responsible for the majority of the site.
Hopefully the site will speak for itself. I see no
reason to say any
more. Enjoy it if you can, if not, I don't know what to tell you. We
welcome all comments, positive and negative. Feel free to write, and be

I'm sorry to say that if you don't know what this is all about already, this page probably won't help you much. To make it short, for most people, ICF is simply a Graf crew. We have lots of writers in many cities throughout the coun
try. Many people have heard of us, many haven't. If you are most people, that's about where it's going to end. Your going to look at our graf, our flicks, give us a response such as "good work, and keep bombing" and move on. However, ICF does in fact
represent much more than that, it's rather a set of thoughts, opinions, mentalities, and goals that hold a select group of people together.
Graf is the simple part. It's straightforward, it
gets the point across, and it does it's job. (For more info on our
opinions towards graf, see the Essay). The harder
part to understand is the mentality that revolves around us, and those of us in our situation. What situation is that? Simply white kids growing up surrounded by and accepting the urban culture of New York City, and yet, there's even more to it than tha
t.
It's about what you want to do with your life. Where you want to go, what you want to see and experience, and the reasons behind it. It's knowing that a bullet in the head is better than living in the suburbs. It's knowing that ha
ppy and content are two completely different emotions, and the desire to go beyond happy and comfortable, because there's another world out there. It's not about sitting in your room passing the time smoking herb, it's about running accross rooftops in t
he middle of the night in pouring rain. It's about impusively breaking out to never before seen places, without money, without lodging, just the desire to see new shit, and making it happen. The best times in your life are going to be when you don't kno

ICF was "officially" formed to be a graf crew in mid-1992, by Odie, Jugs, Arcs, and Lo5. We've known each other much longer than we've been writing though. Soon after, NZone quickly became an integral part of the crew. Many of us
have temporarilly taken residence in places such as Upstate NY, Washington DC, Boston, Maryland, and New Jersey, but don't worry, we always come back to NYC.
This Website is just another outlet to express our creativity, our mentality. Some people tell us it's wack to try and "front" using the internet and such for fame, or whatever. All that means is you've got a closed mind, kid. Th
