Participating In EFT and Beta Testing
If you are interested in being a Beta or EFT site send email to:
multicast-support@cisco.com
Please include information about what you are interested in testing,
a description of the network in which you will be testing, and your unique
multicast routing requirements. In order to make the EFT/Beta testing as
productive as possible for all participants, please consider the following:
-
You should have enable access to a suitable test network.
-
You should be capable of loading the latest test images within a reasonable
time after they are available.
-
You should be capable of providing feedback about image performance and
any bugs or configuration problems which you find.
-
Be aware that test images can/do cause routers to behave oddly at times
and even crash.
-
At times you may be asked to provide temporary router access to Cisco development
engineers to help troubleshoot or debug problems.
-
Ideally you would be capable of providing network drawings and configurations
which would help us understand the environment in which you are testing
images.
If you are participating in an EFT or Beta test, you can subscribe
to the multicast-eft@external.cisco.com
or multicast-beta@external.cisco.com
mailing lists (usually this happens automatically when you start participating).
Please send email to multicast-support@cisco.com
if you think you should be subscribed, but are not yet.
Thank you for participating.
