IceWM emulates the look and feel of Windows95, OS/2 Warp 3 and 4, and Motif.

IceWM's features include:

  • Multiple workspaces
  • Opaque move and resize options
  • A task bar
  • A window list
  • A mailbox status checker
  • A digital clock

Almost all IceWM functions can be invoked by way of the keyboard and mouse.

Please note that extreme configurability, such as that found in fvwm and other window managers, is not a feature of IceWM.

Still, this one is one of the best window managers available.
