Information:
eXtace is a visual sound display and analysis program for GNOME, although it works under other environments as long as GNOME/esd is installed. It requires ESD to function.
eXtrace includes various fourier transforms of the audio data in real time. Displays include a 3D-textured flying landscape, a 16 to 128-channel graphic EQ, a scope and a 3D pointed flying landscape.
All aspects of the display are fully configurable, even the axis placement.
Version 1.1 now includes a 3D direction-control widget for controlling the angle and speed at which the trace runs away (LAN).
