RearSite is an application for managing files from a World Wide Web interface.
RearSite was written to give users the ability to update their personal home pages without using any commercial products or FTP.
Using RearSite is quite simple. After login, the user has access to his home directory and is able to delete, rename and create documents.
Using any editor, RearSite is also able to upload WWW directories that were previously created. It's very easy to transfer and install archives (ZIP, tar or tar.gz).
