Information:
Etherboot is a free software package for booting x86 PCs over a network.
In principle, this could include any network technology that TCP/IP runs on, as long as it supports broadcasting.
In practice, however, the bandwidth that is required to run Etherboot dictates that the only practical usage for the program would be running it over LANs and some WANs.
Still, Etherboot is useful for booting PCs without disks.
