DateTime is a GNOME panel application designed to provide a lean display of the current time, date and weekday.
It also has the ability to check your system mailbox in either Un*x mbox or qmail maildir style for new mail and change color accordingly. You can configure your favorite mail application to be started when the applet is clicked.
