The Socks cleaner daemon for IRC servers is based on HybServ code by Patrick Alken. This daemon takes incoming connections on IRC and checks for socks4 and socks5 responses.

If a client is coming from a socks server, the daemon can kill and gline this user.

Socks cleaner works with all TS-compatible IRC daemons, and it was written because of the overwhelming abuse of malconfigured Wingate and proxy servers that are being exploited daily.
