Information:
This Linux boot loader operates from MS-DOS floppies. It simplifies first-time installation of Linux, rescues disks and provides other uses for boot floppies.
After it has been created, a SysLinux floppy can be manipulated using standard MS-DOS tools. It requires only a 7K DOS program or a 13K Linux program to create in the first place.
Versions 1.46 and later also include PxeLinux, a program designed to boot from a network server, using a boot that is PROM-compatible with the Intel PXE specification, LAN.
