Libmcrypt is intended to have a simple interface, designed to access encryption algorithms in ofb, cbc, cfb and ecb modes.

The algorithms it currently supports include DES, 3DES, Blowfish, Twofish, Safer-SK64/128, IDEA, GOST, CAST-128 /256, RC2, RC6, LOKI97, SAFER+ and xTEA.
