Review:  Sei d(n) die Anzahl der Teiler von n. Der Verf. leitet für fast alle natürlichen x (d. h. für alle x mit möglicher Ausnahme eine Folge der Dichte Null) asymptotische Formeln für sum d(x+u) her, wobei über "kurze" Intervalle summiert wird. Das Hauptergebnis lautet: Sei h(x) \nearrow oo,

f(x) > \exp{(2 log 2-1) log log x+h(x)(log log x) ½}.

Dann gilt für fast alle x:

sum1 \leq n \leq f(x) d(x+n) ~ f(x) log x.

Das Ergebnis wird falsch, wenn

f(x) = \exp{(2 log 2-1) log log x+c(log log x) ½}

gewählt wird. Ein ähnliches Ergebnis wird gezeigt, wenn d(n) durch r(n) (die Anzahl der Lösungen von n = u2+v2) ersetzt wird.
