Cleanup LOCK_PIXBUF_MUTEX stuff (replaced where necessary with LOCK_DISPLAY
stuff) (primary-icons.c,i mime-mouse-magic.i)

********************************
this is a repeat. Some pango unthread safeness on creating text previews.
We are missing a mutex... or lock display... seems like similar condition to
pixbuf_new_from_file_at_scale() crash...

CHECK-2.24.4: must create comboboxes with has_entry property set to true, otherwise g_error must put in a delay for the size slider bar for gtk2.24 (SEems everything is ok)
CHECK: all rfm_utf_string calls for possible memory leak (found one, so check 'em all).
CIRCUIT: open_theme to figure out the kde bug.

changelog:
1. updated translations with improved Russian po file (amongst others as well)

check all rfm_utf_string calls for memory leak

1. icon theme and icons in kde desktop (ubuntu)
2. deprecated stuff in gtk+-2.24.4
3. (1) Crash when changing icon theme, initially. rewriting as icon-module-theme.i.new
4. Starting rodent-fgr before rodent in new setup gives a bunch of errors, since icon theme is not set up. Probably the same for rodent-diff...

Rodent Delta roadmap:

Top priority: make hard reload run in separate thread and eliminate
              call(s) to gtk_main_iteration()

pending:
rodent-diff documentation
fgr documentation (from man)
rodent-fgr documentation
rodent-mime documentation
rodent-root documentation

- setting default filemanager in KDE and Gnome.

*plugins:
    1- xfsamba
    2- gvfs or equivalent (sftp/ftp/obex/wtf)
    3- developer's manual (plugin api must be frozen)
	--gtk documentation for a subset of available librfm and librodent functions
    4- flow circuit article submitted
	 --flow circuit diagrams (first presented in nov. 2010 at the
	   University of Sonora) including an article preprint.

*some ideas in the middle of the night;

Minor enhancements (maybe):
    a) Optimize softreload? see rodent_touch.i:111, primary-xfdir.i:721
       (to be applied when stat info changes and sort method is not
       type nor name). Fully threaded reload...
    b) rfm-diff: colored output for different patchmake formats
    c) dnd pixmap mode (cp/ln/mv) changes only if mouse moved
       (missing keyboard triggers)
    d) clear user settings button for rodent-mime to erase user saved config.
Overkill:
    f) if hostname != display hostname, (i.e., is a remote host) put
       hostname in title %s
    i) create a hashkey collisions file for all g_string for paths in
       dbh files (generalized).
    j) put fcntl locks on all cache reads... icon theme, pixmaps,
       application file and all files which are written.
       See primary.i for example.
    m) missing feature: open in new tab for partition types in fstab module
More ideas:

    1. Maybe: deactivate monitor for non viewable views to reduce cpu usage
    2. expand filename instead of just making it red on saturation event (gnome suggestion)
    3. rodent-root file get dialog
    4. dont use gvim if gvim is not found (for default text editor)
	   xterm nano
	   xterm vi
    5. use -i and -I rm options to determine if confirm dialog pops up.

ps-module: wont fix (irrelevant)
1. bug: open in new window does not use parent pid to open.
3. up menu item is borked

NOT a BUG: icon-size on opening ps module in new window is default size, open in new tab (plus button) opens in default size too. Size changes for modules is set only to apply to the current view_p.

deferred, maybe even cancelled:
* cut down in cpu use...
* eliminate search and diff menu elements from ps module?
* popup menu element "Show all rodent children".... maybe for 4.7.2
  better: filter processes. or something like that...
* needs its own sort menu items and sort method (maybe for 4.7.2).

**** Wish_list: threaditize open with/execute routine (rodent_popup.i:execute())
**** Wish_list: mimeapp editor (not windowy like kde chose)

Cairo bug (or feature?): on processing an expose, cairo clips whatever the expose callback is programed to do with the expose rectangle. I dunno if this is a bug or a feature, if it is a feature, nonetheless, it should be documented...
cairo-1.10.2; GTK+-2.22.1
linux  2.6.34 on both i386 and amd64

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Deferred till Delta:

* FULL_THREADED_LOAD (see rodent_population.c)

1. deskview:- (this is a gtk-bug: maybe we will do a workaround...)
   event->x,y is out of sync with actual button bress even if mouse move
   is being generated rapidly, this causes draw box expose to be broken
   (under this circumstance) for deskview and sometimes for iconview
   (mostly deskview).

2. (probable gtk bug, maybe workaround...)cp dnd pixmap broken.
    Multiple, ln and mv are ok.

3. smb plugin

4. save system installed theme/icontheme.cache

5. dnd: if same device, default move, if different device, default copy,
   to desktop, default symlink (maybe not... this is really nerdy and
   inconsistent and windowy).

7. adding new applications to applications.xml is a pain in the butt. (Create
   applications editor as xfmime, but for application association,
   to check applications module as well...)

8. (FreeBSD) program icon borked with wmaker. ok with afterstep and fvwm.

9. video thumbnail preview (ffmpeg)

10. Maybe... trash plugin (create another trash plugin with
    nautilus/dolphin/konqueror trash behaviour.)

11. VERIFY: CHECK WITH TWM: deskview: watch_root at deskview_monitor.i,
    this is necesary when wm is twm but breaks things if nautilus is running.
    //XLowerWindow(GDK_DISPLAY(),GDK_WINDOW_XID(((GtkWidget *)desk_view_p->widgets.window)->window));
    Probably is not even necesary anymory because of new monitor scheme...

* NONFIXABLE:
    mounted isofs show the mount menu item instead of umount menu item
* NONFIXABLE:
    mounted isofs needs to show the mount point in popup tip
*  NONFIXABLE:
    tip icon for mounted isofs file is broken (entry information set to 0 by fstab mount operation, expecting xfdir monitor to update...)
