		       TULP -- User's Guide
                       ------------------------

			 Version 4, July 1994

This version of TULP is a subset of the well-known LISTSERV that runs
under VM on lots of Bitnet nodes.

Commands must be sent to <listserv@host.foo.bar> in the body of the
message (the subject is ignored).

Available verbs are:

HELp * Sends this help file
   LISt * Relayed conferences
REView list * Subscribers from a list
SUBscribe list Your name * Register to a list
SIGnoff list * End of subscription

INDex list * Index of files for a list
GET list file * Get a file

ADD list user@host User Name * Add a User (Owner only)
DEL list user@host * Delete a User (Owner Only)

Warning: some commands and lists may be restricted.

Note: some lists may be archived.

Example:

  SUB minix-l Christophe Wolfhugel
  SIG minix-l
  REV ibmpc-l
  LIS

Requests are automatically treated by software, so if you get any
problem with it don't hesitate to drop me a message. Response time
(for local senders) is generally under one minute, except when the
system is under very high loads. If you don't get the answer fast,
maybe the listserv is down...

Email accounts:

  list-errors@weird.com Error reports.
