  EGGBUILD 0.1 (1st version)     -     01/11/1997
=====================================================

Eggbuild is a tool designed to work with Eggdrop.
It will allow you to set up bot configuration files
very quickly. Each time you run Eggbuild, it asks
you 7 questions (bot nickname, channel name, irc
servers, ...) and it's done.

To avoid conflicts with future Eggdrop versions
(I hope it will), the original 'lamestbot' conf
file is used to create the new one. You can also
use another reference file.

You must be in the Eggdrop working directory to
run it, where must be the binary 'eggdrop' and
some other stuff like the 'scripts' directory
and the 'lamestbot' config file.

=====================================================

RESTRICTIONS :

1) I don't think it will work on 0.9* Eggdrops,
there has been some significant changes from this
time. It has been successfully tested on Eggdrop1.0n.

2) The 'channel set' must only have 1 argument
(make as many 'channel set' lines as necessary).

3) To set more than 1 channel, you must edit
your final config file and add it by hand.

=====================================================

COMPILING :

tar xzvf eggbuild0.1.tgz
cd eggbuild0.1
make

That's it.
Successfully compiled and tested on Linux 1.3.24
(I'm late:)

=====================================================

USAGE :

eggbuild ([config file])
from the Eggdrop directory (arg is optional).

For example
../eggbuild ./lamestbot2
to read from the lamestbot2 config file.

The output will be send to a file that will
have the bot nickname as lowercase name.

ADVERTISEMENT :

The french ISP IdNet and Easynet just created an
irc server network called Franet (irc.id-net.fr or
irc.easynet.fr).

It's a french speaking irc network. If you are in
a country where the french is spoken, and have at
least a 64k line always connected (school, ISP, ...),
you could set up an irc server (ircd - GNU licence)
(linux/unix OS) and link to this network freely.

You can contact Franet at franet@id-net.fr
