The configuration file
jboomcfg.xml
contains all actual settings,
in particular the places where the bookmarks are stored. By default it
resides in the user's home directory on the local system. This has the advantage
that the installation can be used by several users, and is as system independet
as possible. However, the configuration must be performed once on every client.

Alternatively you can choose a rmote config file. It will be created on the
server, in the same directory as the program file. With this option, you need
to set up your options only once. However, the installation will then be
your private affair. You can't share it with others without sharing
bookmarks, passwords etc. as well.
