 Hi Ion-Mihai,
                       used pkg_deinstall to remove the installed port. 
 Applied the diff patch and reinstalled the port. Cnet is now working 
 without a problem.  Many Thanks to yourself and Dr Chris McDonald for 
 helping fix this port.
