>Description:
Pine 4.62 released new version. Changelog here: http://www.washington.edu/pine/changes/4.61-to-4.62.html
ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/pine/pine.tar.gz
MD5: 97880cde506534d6d0cfb44aed366fa1

Many crashes fixed in this version, though none mentioned that I could confidently mark this up to a Critical severity.

>How-To-Repeat:

Bump port rev and put new md5s? No time personally to see if there are any file changes.

State-Changed-Why:

I just committed the update.

I will also go a step further than Mark, and say that this
PR was essentially useless. I think it's very safe to say
that most port maintainers stay up to date on when new
releases of their software are available. I personally have
been on the pine-announce list for years.

I will also say that the severity, etc. for this PR are not
realistic.

In short, please be a little bit patient next time. Waiting
at least a week after a new release is probably a lot more
realistic.

Thanks,

Doug

Doug, thanks for your hard work and being understanding of my first
attempts to be helpful to the FreeBSD ports system. The pine port
made the 2nd PR I've ever submitted (probably first under this E-mail
address). I only opened the PR to put something in the system that let
outsiders know the FreeBSD ports people were aware of it.

I want to say more, but I'll take it over to the appropriate mailing
list to learn the best way to do this.
