      If you have both db3 and db4 installed (db42 in my case), the configure script takes the right include path, but uses -ldb3 as link option instead of -ldb, so things don't go as expected.

      Update your ports tree. Have both libdb3 and libdb4x installed. Portinstall cfengine2.
