PAM(phear): Authentication failure.
Sep 23 13:02:11 xxxxxxx proftpd[74904]: xxxxxxxxxx (localhost[127.0.0.1]) - USER
phear (Login failed): Incorrect password.

I get the following error message from ypbind:

Sep 23 13:02:01 xxxxxxxxxx ypserv[157]: access to master.passwd.byname denied --
client x.x.x.x:4446 not privileged



The problem is that proftpd connects to ypserv using a port > 1024, which is not allowed.
