>Description:
p5-XML-Xerces fails to compile... this is because the version of xerces-c2 is 2.5.0 whereas p5-XML-Xerces is 2.3.0. Currently the Apache project do not have a Perl API that matches 2.5.0. xerces 2.5.0 and 2.3.0 may need seperate ports as it's doubtful that a perl API will come out soon.

State-Changed-By: linimon
State-Changed-When: Tue May 11 23:35:09 PDT 2004
State-Changed-Why:
I have marked the port as BROKEN, since it won't install on 4.9.
Since it's broken in 3 other ways, I have taken the liberty of
marking it as DEPRECATED in one month, unless someone wants to
step up and do the great deal of work necessary to fix this port.
