>Description:
After a CVSUP of the ports collection around midnight, August 25th, the install of linux_base fails with a core dump. Here is the make output:

execution of glibc-2.2.4-32 script failed, exit status 0
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/emulators/linux_base.

Here is the message from the kernel:

 There is a work around:

This coredump will not occur if it is installed with the generic
kernel. So far, no problems have been observed running with a custom
kernel after doing the install with GENERIC. Since this involves a
custom kernel issue, perhaps this report should be closed.

On a followup note, my previous comment about using the GENERIC kernel
was a mistake. It seems the important difference is whether or not I
am running multi-user. The install succeeds while running single-user,
and fails otherwise, no matter what kernel I am running.
