 Francisco,

I am testing your vmap port for adding it to FreeBSD ports collection.
Unfortunately, there are a couple of problems with it:

 1. The vmap program expects several subdirectories (./commands,
./ftp/..., ./imap/..., etc.) to be found in the current directory:

 sgk@elf% ./vmap -v outpost ftp
Error: File with FTP commands not found!
 sgk@elf%

I suggest either contacting the author or patching the source yourself
to put all these files in ${PREFIX}/share/vmap, for example.

 2. The first test I tried (ftp) caused vmap to dump core:

 sgk@elf% ./vmap -v outpost ftp
zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) ./vmap -v outpost ftp
 sgk@elf%

(outpost is a known host and ftp server is running there).

Some other tests do work - e.g smtp.

 Please investigate.

I have also added two patches to the port:
 - patch-Makefile: to respect CC, CFLAGS and PREFIX settings
 - patch-vmap.c: to make it compile under GCC 3.3 in -CURRENT

See attached diff against the version you have submitted.

 Sergei
