a 'make install' of port 'xmcd' completes fine, however when I run xmcd I get the following error:

 This problem has been resolved. It was an error on my part. There is
 a message explaining the user must run the 'config.sh' before using
 xmcd. I did not see this message originally because after it is 
 printed to the screen, yet more build output and a security notice
 is display, pushing the original message off the screen. 
 
 So, aside from maybe making sure the message is seen by the user,
 the bug was a dud and can be closed. (Very sorry!).
