>Description:
The 'bcwipe' port installs the Linux binaries from Jetico.com.
Source for bcwipe is available from Jetico as well. A FreeBSD
native port from the source distribution would allow bcwipe
to run on FreeBSD systems that do not install the Linux
	runtime.

	Port from source.

Have you messaged the maintainer about this, most likely if he's not
going to do it, nobody else is, so you might want to update it
 yourself and create a diff.

Thank you, I'll do that now. If nothing else, I can point him at the
PR and ask if he would like to do it, or should I? I wrote a similar,
but much more primitive tool myself a few years ago in response to a
request for a tool like this. It is in sysutils/obliterate if you
have any interest in these things. ;^)

 Any luck with the maintainer?

what do you mean by "Linux binary" ?
I can build it on my machine, and this is my result :

bcwipe: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (FreeBSD), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
