Hi

In PR 22072 you report a problem with your kernel build.
Did you solve that problem first before trying this?

The kernel and userland have to be in sync,
and if you did not solve that problem
(that is your kernel is out of sync with your wolrd)
this might be a problem resulting from that.

Please make sure that your kernel and world is in sync
and report back if your problem is solved or not.

Thanks

I make world (kernel as well) with src-cur.4588 (almost the latest)
But the xconsole still couldn't open console.

Do you have any other consol window open
when you try to start xconsole?

I start a console xterm from my .xinitrc
and to be able to start xconsole I have
to close the xterm first.

Please make sure that you do not have any
other consol window open.

I am very sure there were no other console running.

 Sometimes xconsole works, sometimes not.

This appears to have been a bug with e.g. x11/XFree86; is it still
a problem?
