>Description:
Every time I close a message window under XFMail 1.4.0, the application
dumps core w/signal 6. Same problem on two other machines: one 4.1-RELEASE,
other 4.1-STABLE. Doesn't matter whether it's the package or the port.
Previous builds of XFMail 1.4.0 did not have this problem on these
systems. Appears to be related to xforms-0.89; XFMail 1.4.0 on all three
machines worked fine when xforms-0.88.1 was used.
>How-To-Repeat:
Open any message. Close the message window. Application crashes;
dumps core w/signal 6.
>Fix:
Unknown, but guessing that reverting to xforms-0.88.1 would be a
workaround.

 Problem was resolved by:

 1. CVSup 4.1-STABLE src-all on 9/2.

 2. CVSup ports-all on 9/2.

 3. Rebuilt and installed world and kernel following UPDATING
 procedures.

 4. Deinstalled xforms and xfmail.

 5. Rebuilt and installed xforms and xfmail ports.

Previous runs through this process from approx. 8/24 - 8/31 had not
resolved the problem, but noticed that the 9/2 ports CVSup had some
 changes to xforms.

Also with 5.0-CURRENT, from end of August up now :-(
I tryed with make and install new world and new kernel (cvsup on
08 September 2000, late night of italian time), make and install
of xfree86, xforms and xfmail. Crash only exiting from message
window but not from main program

Yes, I screwed up -- the "fix" I posted was bogus and I should have
reposted again right away. Sorry about that. What I did that actually
resolved the problem was rebuild XFMail with xforms 0.88.1.

As far as I can tell, the problem I originally submitted still
exists: XFMail 1.4.0 doesn't play well with xforms 0.89. I guess this
 PR should be reopened.

The problem seems to be with the xforms port since version 0.88.1
works but the newer 0.89 does not.

It works for me (xforms_0.88.1 and xfmail_1.4.0). Thanks.
