>Organization:
UUNet Internet Africa
>Environment:

Non-user machine(s) running at least FreeBSD 2.1.5 running various
versions of ssh.

>Description:

the sshd initialises fine from both the rc.d and when manually run. It
executes, and generates the key correctly. For some unknown reason and
after some unknown period of time, the daemon is no longer present.

>How-To-Repeat:

Try it yourself - we haven't managed to keep one going for more than 4/5
days. All machines are at least Pentium 75, and at least with 32MB of RAM,
running IDE drives. It does however work when executed from inetd

>Fix:

None at the present moment. It does however work when executed from inetd,
but obviously takes long to generate encrypted key.
