>Description:
Building the already named port failed. And so failed building of GNOME.

The building process stopped when the library v4l2_pwplugin.so had to be built.

The same problem happened to at least two other users as the following thread shows,

http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=12670

>How-To-Repeat:
Launch the build process again with make
>Fix:
In my opinion this problem occurs because the definition of '__u32' does not appear in the file /usr/local/include/linux/videodev2.h anymore and vidinput_v4l2.cxx still needs it (in 2 occasions).

A fix probably would be to change the references to '__u32' in a proper and suitable way in the file vidinput_v4l2.cxx.

 Folks,

The fix provided in the FreeBSD forum thread doesn't resolve the issue
for all users. Can we please re-open and investigate?

 Thanks.

 Hi !

I proposed a way to fix. There has been a misunderstanding. The "Errata Cor=
rige" that I submitted was to state that the problem is _similar_ not _same=
_ as the one in the forum. I did not want to close the PR.=20

BTW A __temporary fix__ would be to open vidinput_v4l2.cxx located somewher=
 e in a subdirectory of /usr/ports/devel/pwlib/work and change '__u32' into =
'uint32_t' for 2 times in that file.

Can this PR be submitted to the maintainer ?

 Dear maintainer of devel/pwlib,

a problem report has been submitted for your port for which your
feedback might be required; its contents can be found at [1]. If it
contains a patch or suggestions for a change, please send a followup to
the PR explaining whether or not you approve it and want it to be
 committed.

 Regards,
 Stefan
