>Description:
Hyperlatex produces unusable HTML output (special characters) when used with emacs 23.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install the latest print/hyperlatex and editors/emacs ports and try to generate an html document from latex source using hyperlatex. The HTML output produced contains special characters that cause browsers to be unable to render the document.

>Fix:
Deinstalling the emacs port (23.1) and installing emacs22 (22.3.1) solved the problem.

This is a known general problem with Emacs 23.x and Hyperlatex which should be
resolved upstream.

 Hi Jim,

a quick search on the web shows that this is a problem with Hyperlatex and
Emacs 23.x in general (see [1], for example), and that other operating
systems are haveing the same problem. This has to be resolved with the
Emacs/Hyperlatex projects (probably the latter), not in the FreeBSD ports
tree, so I'll close this PR.

 Regards,
 Stefan
