FreeBSD jabber 7.2-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p2 #0: Wed Jun 24 00:14:35 UTC 2009 root@amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64

>Description:
I've installed jabber in a jail and it fails to start. Running jabberd14 with -D I see the follwoing error:

Executing jsm() in /usr/local/lib/jabber/libjabberdsm.so failed: 'Undefined symbol "_nss_cache_cycle_prevention_function"'

Invalid configuration in instance 'sessions.elehack.net:

>How-To-Repeat:
Install net-im/jabber on a 7.2 AMD-64 system (may apply to other platforms as well, I do not know) and try to run it with the 'libjabberdsm' JSM loaded.
>Fix:
References to this problem with other software indicates that it is a problem in how the dynamic loader is used.

After restarting the jail, jabberd14 started correctly on its own. So
it seems that this problem has either corrected itself, or I was looking
at something wrong and got thrown off.

My apologies for the noise this has created.
