I get the same problem when I run Netscape 4.6 or 4.51/domestic

You don't really have much information to go on. Since this is a problem 
with 3rd-party software, for which you don't have any ideas on a fix, 
it's probably best for you to take this up in a forum that deals with 
Netscape specifically, rather than using FreeBSD's PR database.
